Red Torch Mexican Sunflower

Tithonia rotundifolia.
Shrubby, heat-loving, multi-branched variety was once called the Golden Flower of the Incas. Brilliant 2-3″ scarlet-orange daisy flowers bloom at the ends of the long, fluted stems on 5′ plants. An excellent butterfly attractor that produces masses of blooms over a very long season.
