Sword - Pole Bean

Canavalia Gladiata. A vigorous, deep-rooted, annual-to-perennial climbing plant, that produces huge sword shape pods over a long period of time. Very resistant to pest and disease. The pods can grow 7-15″ long. Consume unripe pods only, but not raw. Boil them and discard the water before cooking further.
