Black Vernissage Tomato

Heirloom from Ukraine. Indeterminate. Striped tie dye red and dark green skin which gives it its “black” appearance. Crack resistant and thick skinned large sized cherry tomato. A very adaptable and easy to grow saladette tomato for more extreme temperatures. The only variety that survives when all other tomatoes fail in extreme summer heat and monsoons, very productive over a long season. This variety is very good for fresh eating, salads, drying or making sauces. Rich, complex, slightly smoky, tart flavor.
