Celosia argentea. Grows wild in South Karnataka – the locals call it anna soppu. Small dark green nutritious leaves that taste delicious and meaty when cooked and harvested young. The male and female plants look different from each other, and produce beautiful silvery-white flowers with pale-pink tops.
