This red-tinged, long leaf variety forms more horizontal stems and bolts late. You can keep harvesting the younger leaves with stems to encourage regrowth and expand the season. Leaves have a mild and meaty flavor profile, can get fibrous and dry if harvested late. Red flowers produce black seeds.
