Pink Swamp Mallow Ornamental Okra

Abelmoschus moschatus subsp. tuberosus
This is a rare ornamental okra variety from the hibiscus family. Lovely pink blooms with lemony-yellow centers give way to tiny, tasty “okra” pods. Low plants that tend to branch out horizontally. The tubers and foliage were a source of food for Aborigines.
