Cheriya Avare Pole Bean

These butter/lima beans are an old staple in Kodava kitchens. The vines grow 10-12' feet tall, take longer to grow but keep producing across seasons. Harvest fresh matured beans or dried. Known for their nutty flavor, they can be cooked as a simple stew, or combined with potatoes/meat/forest mushrooms.
