Also called Sweet Basil. This classic Genovese basil has the traditional fragrance and flavor, making it excellent addition to Italian cooking and pesto. Its vigorous, large leaves have a sweet, slightly spicy flavor. Keep pinching off the tops when the plants reach 6-8", for continuous harvests.
