Lemon Bergamot

Monarda citriodora. The lance shaped leaves have a distinctive citrus or lemony scent with a wonderful taste. The dried flowers can be used in tea. Grown as an ornamental or for its cut flowers. All bergamots are highly attractive to honeybees and other pollinators. Native of the Oswego, New York area.
