San Juan Tsile Medium Hot Pepper

A rare Native American landrace chili pepper, traditionally cultivated by elder farmers at the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, New Mexico. Produces 3-5" conical peppers with a sweet, nutty flavor, maturing from green to red, and a heat level typically ranging from mild to medium. Popular for dried chillies.
