Physalis ixocarpa
Bred in Poland, this is a lemon-colored, fruitier version of tomatillo. The fruit is firm, juicy and very sweet; perfect for jams, jellies and don’t forget the salsa! The fruits can grow up to 5 cm, covered by a thin membrane that turns brown when the fruits ripen from green to yellow.
