Hibiscus sabdariffa. Belongs to the Roselle family. This red stemmed variety is known for its sour taste and makes great chutneys, dals, and meat dishes. They form beautiful, large hedges when planted in a row, with yellow flowers and sharp, long leaves. They need full sun and warm weather to grow.
