Trigonella foenum-graecum. Fenugreek or methi is an ancient spice which is a relative of the pea plant. Fresh and tender plant leaves are used as a leafy vegetable and the seeds are used as a spice. They also make super healthy sprouts for diabetics. Grows best in the cooler months of the year.
