Basella Rubra. Also known as Ceylon spinach, this beautiful tropical vine loves warm weather and can reach 6′ high or more if trained up a trellis. The vine has lovely red stems and delicious, succulent leaves. Can be grown for an extended period of time, so find a permanent spot for this one.

I have tried to grow the beautiful red stemmed malabar spinach from many sources but each time I've been disappointed. I've tried tons of times including seeds from e-commerce sites. The Malabar spinach seeds sent by Yarroway farm is the first time, I got the correct variety ie red stem color. I wish I could add a picture here, I got above 80% germination rate and the seedling are beautiful! Thank you for sending authentic seeds of the promised variety!
