This heirloom produces round, dark-green skinned melons with sweet, crisp, and juicy red flesh. Fruits measure 8-10" across, just the right size for fitting in the fridge or a picnic basket. Tough rinds resist cracking. The standard of "icebox" melons for many years. Average of 1–2 fruits per plant.
