A brilliant, pinkish-red flowering variety from Japan. Grown for its brilliant flower clusters and gluten-free cereal. Makes a great ornamental, green manure, and cover-crop. Flowers attract bees that make dark buckwheat which is shown to contain 100 times the antioxidant effect of regular honey.
